Dr Eugene has been privileged to have been a part of some of the finest dentistry in Australia and New Zealand, most recently, as the honorary Chair of the Judging Panel for the awards for Dental Excellence in Reconstructive Technologies. He is also currently one of 3 Australian lecturers with the world’s largest dental company – teaching 150 experienced dentists annually about advanced robotic dental treatment in the CEREC Masters program. He enjoys taking them to the next level in terms of repairing, rebuilding and maintaining teeth and smiles by using the latest technology in robotics and AI.
Dr Eugene has had a wide and varied dental career ranging from teaching Final Year dentistry students at the University of Sydney, to working in high end city cosmetic dental practices, dental health fund clinics and teaching hospitals. He has contributed to news media articles on dental care, management and efficacy of different techniques and materials used in modern dental practice. He is also certified in Digital Orthodontics focusing on Clear Aligners to straighten teeth as well as using traditional braces.
His underlying focus in the dental profession is on promoting and providing increasing reliability and improving value in conservative dentistry as well as integrating nutrition and diet in the control of dental and systemic disease. Dr Eugene loves his work and believes that when he puts on his clinical gown before work in the morning, he becomes a superhero whose job is to heal all teeth and the person who they are very attached to.
